Feedback: We were blessed by perfect weather making the pre-celebration picnic a delight for families with young children. Our celebration was once again small in number but big on the Holy Spirit. Meeting in Langport on a hill over looking the Somerset Levels one had the sense that God was spreading His love over the countryside in response to our prayers. We used the Lord's Prayer as a base for our focussed prayer with different church groups taking responsibility for each stanza. We prayed and worshiped in the ancient All Saints Church - now preserved for ecumenical events. Our fourth year and it was probably the best so far with many local churches participating in the planning and execution of our event.
Simple displays impacted on and directed our prayers - a loaf of bread and a bottle of water (give us this day our daily bread) were hugely significant in the light of the Burmese disaster.
